I, like many other folx, enjoy music, and do so on the regular due to the advent of modern technologies: pocket sized devices that can play music via headphones or built-in speakers, and that also can stream from relatively cheap services that cost you around the price of one album a month. However, I also despise the aforementioned music streaming services, as I feel like the soul has been lost on how we (I) listen to music. Instead of it being something intentional, we play music for everything we do: cleaning, working, playing, etc. But enough about my ranting, this page is meant to be a breakdown of the bands I listened to regularly in high school, as well as the bands I listen to now. Some of them are the same, but there are also new bands I've found and quite enjoy.

Modern Bands

1. Hot Milk
Hot Milk is a UK band that plays a mixture of rock and metal with flavours of electronic thrown in. I think that their style would have fit in very well at the end of the nu metal boom, and into the alternative rock and metal scene of the 2000s.
Albums: Corporation P.O.P. (June 27, 2025), A Call to the Void (August 25, 2023)
EPs: The King and Queen of Gasoline (August 5, 2022), I Just Wanna Know What Happens When I'm Dead(September 10, 2021), Are You Feeling Alive? (May 3, 2019)
